Overview: We created the full 3D animated cinema and TV ident for Hasbro and Smyths Toys to promote the release of the film Transformer One. The short feature was engineered to capture the excitement of the film and connect the brand and retailer directly to the blockbuster release.
The Challenge: Develop a high impact feature quality animation that integrates the Hasbro and Smyths Toys brands into the world of Transformer One and delivers the full energy of the franchise within a short timeframe.
Creative Solution: The project was executed entirely in Cinema 4D and rendered using Redshift. We focused on dynamic character animation, explosive VFX, and cinematic lighting to match the premium feel of the movie franchise. The short form ident was designed to deliver maximum impact in a compact format and was ready for placement across multiple media channels including cinema preroll and television spots.
Impact and Results: The ident delivered a memorable connection between the retailer and the major movie release. It helped drive attention to the Transformer One toy line and positioned Smyths Toys as the destination for official merchandise during the promotional window.
Thank you to Hasbro, Smyths Toys and Thunderhawk Studios.
