This page explains how Weasel Creative Limited works with clients and how we protect personal data. By using our site or commissioning our studio, you agree to these terms.

Information you send to us (name, email, message content). Technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, session duration) collected through cookies and analytics. Data from services that deliver media on our site (video platforms, CDNs).

Consent (forms/cookies); legitimate interests (security, site improvement, analytics); contract (to deliver commissioned work).
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EU. Where applicable we rely on UK IDTA/Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions. Typical processors include analytics, video and CDN platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Vimeo, Bunny CDN).
Contact form entries up to 12 months. Analytics data up to 26 months. We delete or anonymise data when no longer needed. We may retain transactional/financial records as required by law.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with trusted providers that host our site, deliver media or provide analytics, acting under our instructions and UK data law.
We use cookies to understand how visitors use the site and to serve media. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. We respond within one month. You can complain to the UK ICO at ico.org.uk.
Any marketing is opt-in with a clear unsubscribe. Our services are not aimed at children under 16.
These terms override any conflicting purchase orders, supplier terms or client payment policies. Alternative terms supplied by the client are proposals only and do not apply unless agreed in writing by a director of Weasel Creative Limited.
All intellectual property, creative premises, treatments, methodologies and any work we create remain the property of Weasel Creative Limited unless agreed otherwise in writing. Clients receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the final delivered media only for the purpose, territory and platforms agreed in writing.
Condition precedent: any licence is granted only upon receipt of full cleared payment. Any use before full payment is unauthorised.
Project files, layered/working files and source assets are not included. No ownership transfers unless expressly agreed and paid for.
Layered or working project files (C4D/Houdini scenes, textures, AEPs, rigs, caches) are priced separately at a fee typically equal to one-third (⅓) of the agreed project fee. Final fee may vary depending on volume, cleanup, organisation and licensing requirements.
- Third-party assets, stock, fonts, plugins and licences are excluded unless transferable rights exist
- Bespoke onboarding/support/re-rigging is chargeable as additional deliverables
You warrant that any assets you supply (logos, fonts, CAD/3D files, footage, music, etc.) are licensed and lawful for the intended use. You indemnify Weasel Creative Limited against claims, losses and costs arising from third-party allegations that your materials infringe rights or breach law.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, any public use of work produced by Weasel Creative must include clear credit to "Weasel Creative". LinkedIn posts must tag @Graham Bucknell and @Weasel Creative. On other platforms, tag @weaselcreative.
Where tagging is not possible, include a visible standard follow hyperlink to https://weaselcreative.co.uk (no rel="nofollow", rel="ugc" or rel="sponsored"). If credit is omitted, you must correct or remove posts within 7 days of notice.
We do not, by default, retain layered project files or source assets for more than 7 calendar days after submission of the final invoice. After this period, they may be permanently deleted. Extended retention must be requested in writing within 7 days and may incur storage fees.
All invoices are payable within 30 calendar days of the invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing. Client terms attempting longer schedules are null and void unless expressly accepted in writing in advance.
Late payment: we may suspend work, withhold deliverables and disable licences. Overdue invoices accrue statutory interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
A deposit may be required prior to project commencement. Deposits are non-refundable except where Weasel Creative Limited agrees otherwise in writing.
Included revisions are listed in your proposal. Any additional scope, revisions or format changes will be priced on a deliverable basis via a written change order. Approved change orders automatically adjust timelines and fees.
If no issues are raised in writing within 48 hours of delivery, the deliverable is deemed accepted.
We operate in a professional, respectful and inclusive manner and expect the same from all clients. Any abusive, harassing, threatening or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to terminate any project immediately, invoicing for all work completed to date plus any non-recoverable third-party costs.
We create work with care and skill but do not promise a specific commercial result. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability for a project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control (acts of God, pandemic, war, network outages, hardware failure, etc.). Fees for work already performed remain payable.
The client agrees not to solicit or hire Weasel Creative Limited employees or key contractors for 12 months after the project without written consent. Breach incurs a placement fee equal to 50% of the employee's annual salary.
These terms plus the signed proposal/invoice form the entire agreement and supersede prior discussions. Governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
