What is a CGI product film?
A CGI product film is a cinematic launch video built entirely in 3D — no photography, no studio, no physical product required. Every surface, every reflection, every particle of light is rendered in software to create something that looks better than reality. Used for product launch campaigns, ecommerce hero videos, trade show content and brand films, a well-made 3D product animation does what no photograph can — it shows your product at its absolute best, from any angle, in any environment, before it even comes off the production line.
Built before the product exists
The most common brief we receive: the product is not ready, but the launch date is locked. Photography is impossible. The campaign still needs to go live. This is exactly where CGI product films deliver. We start from CAD files, technical drawings or reference imagery, clean and rebuild the geometry, author photoreal materials from scratch, and deliver a product launch film that looks better than any photograph — often weeks before the product ships.
We did this for Novation, Focusrite and Oral B. In each case the product was still in development when we started. The film was ready for launch day.

We work in Cinema 4D and Redshift — industry-standard tools that deliver broadcast-quality results. Every shot is designed to sell the product before a single spec is explained. We focus on material quality, lighting drama and camera motion that gives products weight, presence and premium appeal. The result is a 3D product video that looks and feels cinematic — not like a technical breakdown.
